Victory Day Celebration in France

On May 7, 2015 Tajikistan Embassy in France jointly with the diplomatic missions of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Uzbekistan commemorated the Soviet soldiers who dedicated their lives for the liberation of France and the Victory over fascism in the World War II. Diplomatic representatives of the mentioned countries have participated in the ceremony of laying wreathes at Cemetery in Noyers-Saint-Martin where the Soviet soldiers buried.

Prior to the ceremony, on May 5, 2015 an official reception dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of the Victory over fascism in the World War II was held in Paris by diplomatic missions of Tajikistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Uzbekistan in France. The reception was attended by World War II veterans, French officials as well as diplomatic corps.
