On May 6, 2015 in the Egyptian Center for International Cultural Cooperation in Cairo opened a Photo Exhibition dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of the Victory over fascism in the World War II. The Photo Exhibition is organized by the Embassy of Tajikistan together with the diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Uzbekistan under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
At the opening ceremony, which was attended by heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Cairo, representatives of ministries and departments, scientific and cultural institutions and the media of the host country, the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt Yasser Mourad and ambassadors of seven above-mentioned countries made welcoming statements.
In his speech, Ambassador of Tajikistan in Egypt Khusrav Noziri highlighted the crucial significance of the victory over fascism in World War II, a worthy contribution of Tajikistan in ensuring that historic victory, heroism, resilience and patriotism of the sons of our country on the battlefield, the need to resolve all disputes by peaceful means in accordance with the UN Charter in order to preserve international peace and security.
