The third round of political consultations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kingdom of Belgium

On 22 April 2021, the third round of political consultations was held between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kingdom of Belgium in the format of a videoconference. The delegation of Tajikistan was headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister Mr. Muzaffar Huseinzoda, while the Director General of the Federal Public Service for Foreign Affairs Ms. Anick van Calster headed the Belgian delegation.

During the consultations the two sides discussed a wide range of issues related to the development of bilateral relations in the political, economic, scientific, cultural, tourism spheres, and in the field of sustainable development, as well as exchanged views on the issues of addressing modern challenges and threats.

The parties also considered collaboration between the two countries within the framework of international and regional organizations.
