Presenting credentials to the President of Hungary

On February 4, 2015 in Budapest Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan (with residence in Vienna) Ismatullo Nasredinov presented his Letters of Credence to the President of Hungary Janos Ader.

After the ceremony of presenting credential a short talk between the President of Hungry and Ambassador of Tajikistan took place, during which interlocutors discussed the current level of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Hungary.

During the discussion importance of activation of cooperation in trade and economy was emphasized. Ecology of the region, climate change and the risks posed by melting glaciers were discussed. In this connection, the President of Hungary referred to the meeting with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan in the frame of Rio + 20 Conference, which was held on 22 June, 2012 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

After the meeting with the President the Ambassador of Tajikistan held the ceremony of laying wreaths at the "Heroes' Square" in Budapest with the participation of officers of the guard of honor as a sign of respect to the high historical and cultural values of the people of this country.
