Meeting with Members of the Political and Security Committee of the European Union

On December 11, 2019, in Brussels on the sidelines of the Eighth Meeting of the Cooperation Council between the Republic of Tajikistan and the European Union the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirodjiddin Muhriddin met with the members of the Political and Security Committee of the European Union.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan addressed the progress and achievements of Tajikistan and the country's efforts in countering modern security threats, as well as potential for effective cooperation between Tajikistan and Europe. The comprehensive dialogue covered all aspects of cooperation between Tajikistan and the European Union and focused on ways of strengthening and enhancing the means of connecting opportunities and prospects. The sides exchanged views on important regional and international issues. The members of the Political and Security Committee of the European Union commended Tajikistan's reforms and efforts to strengthen rule of law and democratic society.
