Political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan

On October 31, 2019, political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan was held in Ashgabad. The delegation of Tajikistan was headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Mukhriddin.

During the meeting current issues on the agenda, including the further development of Tajik-Turkmen relations in various fields, bilateral economic cooperation, regional security issues and countering modern challenges and threats, cooperation within international and regional organizations, issues of strengthening the legal framework of bilateral relations, as well as the interaction of consular services of both countries were discussed.

The meeting was held in a traditionally friendly and constructive atmosphere.
