Statement by the Tajik delegation at the working session on tolerance and non-discrimination, including the fight against racism, xenophobia and discrimination, the fight against anti-Semitism, intolerance and discrimination against Christians, Muslims and representatives of other religions at the OSCE Meeting

On September 24, 2019 in Warsaw, at the working session of the OSCE Meeting on the Implementation of Human Dimension Commitments on Tolerance and Non-Discrimination, including the fight against racism, xenophobia and discrimination, the fight against anti-Semitism, intolerance and discrimination against Christians, Muslims and representatives of other religions, the Deputy Director of the Center for Islamic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Rustam Azizi made a speech.

He noted that the Republic of Tajikistan supports all international and regional initiatives to combat all forms of discrimination and intolerance on religious, ethical, racial and other grounds.

In his speech, Rustam of Asia expressed regret that the OSCE provides a platform for organizations whose ideology is based on the principles of religious intolerance, propaganda of religious violence, as well as anti-Semitic content, such as the Islamic Renaissance Party.
