Meeting of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan with the Director-General of UNESCO

On 24 September 2019 in New York on the sidelines of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Qohir Rasulzoda met with the Director-General of the UNESCO Ms. Audrey Azoulay.

During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation between Tajikistan and UNESCO in the fields of education, science and culture. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan invited the Director-General of UNESCO to participate in the celebration of the 5500th anniversary of the ancient city of Sarazm in 2020.
