Meeting of Tajikistan and Iran Foreign Ministers

On March 15, 2014 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the priority issues on the top of bilateral agenda.

The sides expressed satisfaction with the level and content of bilateral cooperation, and stated their readiness to further expand and strengthen the friendly interactions between the countries sharing the common language and culture, in various fields, including economy, trade, energy, transport, education and security.

The Foreign Ministers also exchanged views on important regional and international issues and congratulated each other and the people of the two countries on the occasion of Nawruz holiday.
