Celebration of Independence Day in France

On September 21, 2017, the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in France with assistance of the Tajik-French Cultural Association "Ravzana" organized a cultural event on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Representatives of political and economic circles, parliament, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the diplomatic corps, as well as Tajik compatriots in France attended the event.

The event started with the opening ceremony of Photos and Paintings Exhibition "Tajikistan - roof of the world", which will continue until 4 October. Then the guests were shown a documentary film "Charkh" about the culture and nature of Tajikistan.

At the same time, the Embassy organized a cultural corner, as well as an exhibition of books and pamphlets about the history, culture and nature of Tajikistan. The guests of the event had also the opportunity to taste national dishes.
