Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs with the UN Secretary-General

On March 11, 2014 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojidin Aslov had a meeting with the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on the issues related to Central Asian regional security, in particular, in light of ISAF withdrawal from Afghanistan, strengthening of regional cooperation and Tajikistan role in the consolidation of peace in neighboring Afghanistan. The parties also discussed rational use of water resources, development of renewable sources of energy.
