Meeting with The EU Special Representative for Central Asia

On 23 of January 2017 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirodjidin Aslov has met with the EU Special Representative for Central Asia Mr.Peter Burian.

During the meeting the following issues have been discussed: bilateral cooperation between the EU and Tajikistan; upcoming meeting of the Cooperation Council between EU-Tajikistan; strengthening of cooperation on implementation of the National Strategy on Sustainable Development of Tajikistan for the period until 2030; economic situation in the country; the security and major regional issues; water-energy issue and other international issues of mutual interest.

At the meeting Ms.Audrone Perkauskine – Deputy Head of the Central Asia Division of the European External Action Service, Mr.Roland Honekamp – Tajikistan’s Desk Officer of the European External Action Service, Ambassador Hidajet Biscevic - Head of EU Delegation to Tajikistan and other members of delegation were attended.
