Tajikistan signs UN Convention Against Cybercrime

On March 17, 2026, an official signing ceremony for the UN Convention Against Cybercrime by the Republic of Tajikistan took place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

On behalf of the Republic of Tajikistan, the document was signed by the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the UN Mr. Jonibek Hikmat.

This document – officially titled the "United Nations Convention against Cybercrime; Strengthening International Cooperation for Combating Certain Crimes Committed by Means of Information and Communications Technology Systems and for the Sharing of Evidence in Electronic Form of Serious Crimes" – remains open for signature at UN Headquarters until 31 December 2026, and has to date been signed by 75 countries.
