Presentation of copies of credentials by the Ambassador of Argentina

On November 10, 2025, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Ismatullo Nasredin received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to the Republic of Tajikistan (with residence in Islamabad) Mr. Sebastian Sayus.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of establishing and strengthening bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Argentina in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres given the need to create a legal framework for relations. In particular, the importance of creating mechanism for political consultations, finding ways to develop trade, and strengthen people-to-people ties was emphasized in connection with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2026.

The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs wished the Ambassador of Argentina every success in his further diplomatic mission in Tajikistan.
