Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs with the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe

On 11 June 2025, on the sidelines of the High-Level Celebration dedicated to the 50th Anniversary of the Intergovernmental Hydrological Programme and 60 years  of UNESCO Water Sciences in Paris, a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin and the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE),                  Ms. Tatiana Molcean took place.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the development of bilateral cooperation in the context of implementing the SDGs. Particular attention was given to such areas as enhancing regional transport connectivity, simplifying trade procedures, the sustainable use of water resources, the transition to a green economy, and digital transformation, as well as to other issues of regional integration.
