The 4th Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the India–Central Asia Dialogue was held on 6 June 2025 in New Delhi.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin, expressed his views on a range of priority areas, including the development of transport connectivity, mutual cooperation in ensuring food and energy security, tourism, education, healthcare, digitization, culture, industrial development, and capacity building. He also called for the effective utilization of the existing cooperation mechanisms.

During the meeting, the participants held in-depth discussions on pressing issues, such as strengthening the fight against terrorism and extremism and regional security challenges. They also discussed enhancing collaboration in the areas of cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, and development and sustainable use of critical minerals.

The ministers reviewed the progress of multifaceted cooperation between India and the Central Asian across political, security, economic, trade, and cultural areas. Particular attention was given to enhancing economic, trade, and interbank cooperation.

The potential of the Chabahar Port as a gateway to facilitate access to Indian and other regional markets was discussed, along with the strategic role of the International North–South Transport Corridor in boosting connectivity between India and Central Asia.

The participants emphasized the importance of increasing investment in key sectors such as agriculture, pharmaceuticals, information technology, and infrastructure. They also highlighted the significance of cultural exchanges and humanitarian initiatives in strengthening people-to-people ties.

The meeting concluded with the adoption of a Joint Statement.
