Meeting with the President of the Islamic Development Bank

On June 22, 2016 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Zarobiddin Kosimi met with President of the Islamic Development Bank Ahmad Muhammad Ali in Jeddah.

At the beginning of the meeting Zarobiddin Kosimi conveyed to the President of the Islamic Development Bank Ahmad Muhammad Ali, who is considered a great friend of Tajikistan, greetings and respect the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the leader of the nation, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

To IDB President Ambassador also handed an invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjiddin Aslov addressed to him to participate in the international high level water summit of implementation of the sixth goal of sustainable development and the goals associated with them, called "Achieving universal access to water and sanitation" which will be held from 9 to 11 August 2016 in Dushanbe.

During the meeting a constructive conversation about the expansion of cooperation of Tajikistan with the Islamic Development Bank, the future plans and timely funding of projects to support the sustainable development of our country.

Ahmad Muhammad Ali reiterated the firm commitment of the Islamic Development Bank's full support to the socio-economic development of Tajikistan.
