Political consultations between Tajikistan and Germany

On May 24, 2016 in Dushanbe the Tajik-German political consultations chaired by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseinzoda and the Commissioner of the Federal Foreign Ministry of the Federal Republic of Germany for Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia Andreas Peschke took place.

The two sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects for development of bilateral relations in political, trade-economic, cultural and education spheres, cooperation between the two countries in the framework of the European Union programs for Central Asia, priorities of Germany`s Chairmanship in Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), as well as the other issues of mutual interest.

The two sides expressed readiness to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in all priority areas in order to facilitate the further expansion of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Germany.
