Tajik Ambassador meets Speaker of the Egyptian Parliament

On May 16, 2016 in Cairo the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Arab Republic of Egypt Ali Abdel-Al received the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan Khusrav Noziri. The Tajik diplomat conveyed to the Speaker of the Egyptian Parliament a congratulatory message from the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Tajikistan Shukurjon Zuhurov.

While expressing gratitude to his Tajik counterpart for the congratulatory message, Ali Abdel-Al said that Egypt and Tajikistan have long-standing historical and cultural ties. He stressed that Egypt wants to develop relations of cooperation with Tajikistan in all fields and expressed his hope that the parliaments of the two countries will establish bilateral co-operation through the establishment of groups of the Tajik-Egyptian friendship, and would welcome the exchange of visits between the parliamentarians of the two countries.
