Participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Ministerial Meeting of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD)

On 20 September 2023 on the sidelines of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin participated and addressed the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.

In his statement, the Minister emphasized the need to invest in sustainable economic recovery, supporting trade, ensuring the smooth transportation of essential items, particularly food and medicine, protecting the environment, adapt to the climate change, and foster transition to the green economy.

At the end of his speech, Minister Muhriddin called upon ACD countries to actively participate in the Third Dushanbe Conference on the implementation of the International Decade of Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028", which will be held in June 2024.
