Meeting of Minister of Foreign Affairs with Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for Afghanistan

On October 13, 2015 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov met with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for Afghanistan Nicholas Haysom.

During the meeting the parties discussed the issues of cooperation of Tajikistan with the United Nations and the Office of the Special Representative on Afghanistan in such areas as ensuring peace and stability in Afghanistan, economic integration of Afghanistan with Central Asian countries, as well as implementation of the projects related with construction of railways and power transmission lines connecting Afghanistan with the region.
