Meeting with the UN Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs

On June 28, 2022, in Lisbon, on the sidelines of the UN Ocean Conference, a delegation of Tajikistan led by Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan Daler Juma and with the participation of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sharaf Sheralizoda met with the UN Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs Liu Zhenmin.

At the meeting, findings of the Second International High-Level Conference on the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development", 2018-2028 in Tajikistan and preparation activities for holding the United Nations Conference on the Mid-Term Review of Water Decade to be held in New York in 2023, were discussed.
