Meeting of the Ambassador with the Director General of the National Diet Library of Japan

On August 18, 2022, at the National Diet Library of Japan, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Japan, Mr. Mirzosharif Jalolov met with the Director General of the National Diet Library of Japan, Mr. Motonobu Yoshinaga.

During the meeting the parties exchanged views on the establishment of cooperation between the National Library of Tajikistan and the National Diet Library of Japan, including signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on librarianship, the organization of book exhibitions in Tajikistan and Japan, and the exchange of specialists in all areas of librarianship.

At the end of the meeting, several copies of the book "The Tajik Golden Heritage" (author Hamrokhon Zarifi), recently published in Japanese, were presented to the National Diet Library of Japan.
