今年は、タジキスタンを代表する詩人、タジキスタン科学アカデミーの学者、人民の代表者、平和の使者、タジキスタンの英雄であるミルゾ・トゥルスンゾダの生誕110周年の記念すべき年です。トゥルスンゾダはタジク民族とタジキスタンの名を代表し、そして世界に知らしめタジク詩人のひとりです。 トゥルスンゾダは1911年4月19日にタジキスタンのレガル地方、カラタグで職人の家に生まれました。彼はドゥシャンベの寄宿学校に進み、その後教育大学に進学しました。卒業後の1930年、「コムソモリ・タジキスタン」紙で記者になり、そのころに詩作を始めました。1935年にはタジキスタン作家組合に加入し1946年まで様々な文学上・記者としての地位で働きました。1946年から、生涯就くことになるタジキスタン作家組合の組合長に就任します。トゥルスンゾダの代表作として「祖国のために！」、「祖国の息子」、「インド民謡」、「私は東方から自由だ」、「ハサン・アロバカシュ」、「アジアの声」、「永遠の光」、「愛しの人」などがあります。トゥルスンゾダはその生涯の中でも一流の作家とされ、60以上の言語に翻訳されています。 ミルゾ・トゥルスンゾダは平和の闘士、推進者として世界の35以上の国を旅し、東洋と西洋の間で平和と友好関係の強化に比類ない貢献をもたらしました。 トゥルスンゾダはタジキスタンの文化的発展に非常に大きく貢献しました。その人気と名声により、彼はタジク人の英雄となったのです。加えて、1ソモニ札には彼の顔が描かれています。彼の名声を記念し、出身地はトゥルスンゾダの名に改められました。ミルゾ・トゥルスンゾダは1977年9月24日にドゥシャンベで死去しました。
