Celebration of National Unity in Tehran

On June 27 of this year, at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Tehran, the celebration of national unity was held with the presence of countrymen and Tajik students at Iranian universities.

Tajikistan's Ambassador to Iran H.E. Mr. Nizomiddin Zohidi, in his congratulatory address, called national unity as one of the greatest achievements of the Tajik people during independence, stressing its importance in consolidating contemporary Tajik government and statehood and maintaining Tajikistan's state independence.

The Ambassador mentioned the major role of  the Founder of national peace and unity,  Leader of the nation, the President of Tajikistan, H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon in pursuit of peace and satisfaction, the consolidation of national unity and the growth and development of Tajikistan, emphasizing international political circles the successful experience of the Emomali Rahmon School of Peace building and State Building can be used to provide peace and stability and development in many areas of today's turbulent world.

In this regard, the necessity of preserving and further consolidating national unity such as the source of today's growth and prosperity of Tajikistan has been emphasized, working in this context to increase the risk and challenges of contemporary times and to intensify the international relations was known as  every Tajik and Tajikistani citizen.

In the following on the occasion of celebrating the national unity celebration a documentary film was displayed, several compatriots congratulated the audiences and read poems about Tajikistan and peace and unity.

The Embassy building was decorated with slogans, exhibited in separate corners the nation's leader's books, as well as examples of costumes and musical instruments and national handicraft arts.
