Presentation of Credentials to the Secretary-General of ECO

On June 3 of this year, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran and, at the same time, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Economic Cooperation Organization, Mr. Nizomiddin Zohidi, presented his credentials to the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization Mr. Hadi Suleimanpour.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the issues of Tajikistan's cooperation with ECO and the strengthening of the organization's activity in different sectors during the Tajikistan presidency.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of implementing the "ECO-2025 Strategic Outlook" document and the implementation of the organization's Secretariat reform map and its subsidiary institutions, as well as the implementation of joint infrastructure and transport plans in the ECO countries.

Mr. Suleimanpour - Secretary-General of the ECO congratulates Mr. Zohidi on the start of his tenure as Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to Eco, and wished him success.
