Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran

On June 1, 2019, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, H.E. Mr. Hassan Rouhani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, accepted  Sirajuddin Mehruddin, who is on an official visit to Tehran.

At the beginning of the meeting, Tajik Foreign Minister conveyed the greetings and messages of the Founder of national peace and unity – the Leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon to H.E. Mr. Hassan Rouhani, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the meeting, the bilateral relations and ways of their consolidation and expansion were discussed.

Speaking about the development of bilateral relations, the parties highlighted areas of interest, including trade and economics.
