Celebration of Tajikistan state independence in Tehran

On September 30 of this year, at the Spinas Hotel Hall in Tehran on the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Iran, an official reception was held on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Representatives of the authorities of the country of residence, including representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran Parliament, Heads and officials of various Ministries and departments, Heads of diplomatic missions of foreign countries and international organizations residing in Tehran, representatives of the commercial, scientific and cultural sectors, the Media News and countrymen participated.

During the speech of the Ambassador of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Nizomiddin Zohidi, talked on the achievements in the period of independence and the lasting role of the Founder of national peace and unity - the Leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon, in forming and consolidating government. He spoke about national unity, security and overall stability in the country, development and improvement of different sectors, strategic goals and programs and the process of their implementation. The Ambassador also noted the Leader of the nation's "open door" foreign policy, which its implementation has led to the development of friendly and mutually beneficial Tajikistan relations with countries around the world, including the Islamic Republic of Iran, the meeting of the Presidents of Tajikistan and Iran on Dushanbe on June of this year was assessed as important for consolidating bilateral occasions.

The Minister of Sports and Youth of the Islamic Republic of Iran, H.E. Mr. Massoud Soltanifar, congratulated the 28th  anniversary of Tajikistan's state independence on behalf of the Iranian government and people, praising the historical, cultural and linguistic commonality between the two countries in favor of strengthening relations in various aspects between Tajikistan and Iran. Referring to the results of the high-level talks between the two countries, he assured that the 13th  meeting of the Joint Commission on Trade, Economic, Technical and Cultural Cooperation in Tehran at the end of this year would reinforce bilateral cooperation.

The program featured films about the achievements of the country's independence and nature and attractions, presenting a variety of national dishes.

Celebrating the 28th anniversary of state independence in Tehran aimed at introducing and encouraging the achievements of the ancient Tajik nation in the path of independence, has been reflected in the country's News Media.
