Ambassador of Tajikistan met with Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development

On August 6, 2019, in Tehran , the Ambassador of Tajikistan, H.E. Mr. Nizomiddin Zohidi, met with the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran, H.E.Mr. Mohammad Eslami.

At the meeting, Tajikistan and Iran's cooperation in the transport and road sectors was discussed, and the role of implementing specific projects to link the two countries through important air and land routes was assessed. In this regard, the two sides described the launch of flights on the Mashhad-Dushanbe-Mashhad route as a positive factor in the development of bilateral relations, stressing the need for flights between the capitals of the two countries. There was also talk about the use of Chabahar port facilities in expanding the export and import of goods and products in the region.
