Meeting with the Minister of Economy and Finance of Iran

On June 31, 2019, in Tehran, H.E. Mr. Nizomiddin Zohidi, Tajikistan's Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran,  met with Mr. Farhad Dezhpasand, Minister of Economy and Finance of Iran.

At the meeting, the two sides emphasized the need to use the capacities of economic, commercial and financial investment cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran. In order to expand the economic and investment relations between the two countries, it was agreed that cooperation in the banking, investment, insurance and customs sectors would be completed.

The meeting also focused on the specific issues of economic and financial relations between the two countries. At the end of the meeting, the Iranian side invited the ministers of the relevant ministries to Tehran and assured that these trips would help to strengthen bilateral economic, trade and financial opportunities between the two countries.
