On June 5, 2026, in Bishkek, on the sidelines of the regular meeting of the Ministers of Internal Affairs of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), a meeting was held between the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ramazon Rahimzoda, and the Minister of Interior of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Eskandar Momeni.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to strengthening cooperation in combating transnational organized crime, ensuring security, and enhancing information exchange.
Ramazon Rahimzoda and Dr. Eskandar Momeni expressed confidence in further expanding bilateral cooperation in the fields of law enforcement and security. They also emphasized the importance of joint efforts to combat terrorism, extremism, and cybercrime.
