The 17th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission in Shiraz

On May 5-7, 2025, the 17th meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic, Trade, Technical, Scientific and Cultural Cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran was held in Shiraz under the leadership of the Co-Chairs of the Commission, Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan Daler Juma and Minister of Energy of the Islamic Republic of Iran Abbas Aliabadi.

During the meeting, the current situation and prospects for developing cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran in the fields of the economy, trade, industry, investment, transport, water, energy, science, culture, healthcare and tourism were discussed.

Following the meeting, a protocol was signed.
