Meeting of the Ambassador at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran

On January 29, 2025, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Nizomiddin Zohidi, met with the Assistant Minister and Director General of the Eurasian Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mujtabo Demirchilu.

During the meeting, with an emphasis on negotiations between the two heads of state during the state visit of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, to Tajikistan, a fruitful dialogue was held on a wide range of issues related to the expansion of cooperation in the fields of economic, trade, tourism, scientific and cultural fields, as well as other aspects of interest.

The parties also discussed issues related to the exchange of visits by high-ranking delegations and organising of the next meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic, Trade, Scientific and Cultural Cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran.
