Meeting of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs with the UN FAO Director General

On January 29, 2020, in Rome, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseynzoda met with the Director General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations Qu Dongyu.

The adoption of joint measures to ensure food security, the introduction of innovative technologies in agriculture, the elimination of the effects of climate change, as well as the preparations for the Second international high-level conference on the implementation of the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018–2028”, which is scheduled for June 2020 in Dushanbe, were the main topics of negotiations between the two sides.
