Cultural evening “Recital of Navruz” in Paris

On March 26, 2019, a cultural evening “Recital of Navruz” was held in the city of Paris at the initiative of the Embassy of Tajikistan in France and in cooperation with the cultural association of the Tajiks of France “Ravzana” on the occasion of the international holiday of Navruz with the participation of the folk artists of Tajikistan – Abduvali Abdurashidov, a famous master performer of tanbur of Tajikistan, director of the Academy of "Shashmaqom" of Tajikistan and Ozodakhon Ashurova, the well-known performer of maqom of Tajikistan, winner of the "Grand Prix" of the International Forum of the art of maqom in Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by representatives of ministries and agencies of France, diplomatic corps of the host country, commercial, scientific and cultural circles, as well as Tajiks living in France and friends of Tajikistan.

At the opening of the cultural evening, the Ambassador of Tajikistan in France Jamoliddin Ubaidullo in his welcoming speech cordially congratulated those present on the glorious holiday of Navruz, illuminating the world and nature, briefly told about the history, essence and holy values ​​of this ancient holiday, and wished the guests of the event a pleasant evening.

In a solemn festive atmosphere, the audience and lovers of high Tajik culture and art tasted with great pleasure and joy spiritual and moral food while listening to the enchanting melody of national songs and dances.
