Participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the 15th ECO-ASEAN Joint Ministerial Meeting

On 22 September 2023, on the margins of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin participated and addressed the 15th ECO-ASEAN Joint Ministerial Meeting.

In his statement, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan emphasized the need to intensify close interaction between the two organizations in all areas of public life in order to form sustainable economic relations.

Sirojiddin Muhriddin called the activation of the South-South transport corridor and its subsequent connection with the expanding North-South transport corridor as an important component of future development of trade and economic relations between ECO and ASEAN.
