Meeting with Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs

On May 23, 2022, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr.Jonibek Hikmat met with the Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs Mr. Liu Zhenmin.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the preparation for the Second International Conference on International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development” 2018-2028” to be held on 6-9 June 2022 in Dushanbe and the participation of Mr.Liu Zhenmin as the co-chair of the Conference at the event.

The sides also exchanged their views on the importance of the Second International High-Level Conference on the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028" for the UN-2023 Water Conference.
