The Ambassador of Tajikistan met with the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs

On February 21, 2022, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Russian Federation Davlatshoh Gulmahmadzod met with the Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation for CIS Affairs, Eurasian integration and relations with  compatriots Leonid Kalashnikov.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of further strengthening and expanding inter-parliamentary cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia.

An exchange of views took place on topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, healthcare, education, culture and labor migration.

The parties also discussed the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, in particular within the framework of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly.
