From June 2 to 6, 2025, the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan are being held in the Russian Federation.
On June 2, an exhibition of works by talented contemporary artists from Tajikistan, titled “The Beauty of Tajikistan: A Heritage for the Future”, was opened at the Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Russian Academy of Arts. These paintings reflect the world of beauty and the wisdom of the Tajik people, as well as the unique natural landscapes of our country. The exhibition will continue until June 5 of this year.
The event was attended by Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan Matlubakhon Sattoriyon, Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia Nikolay Zhuravlyov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Russian Federation Davlatshoh Gulmahmadzoda and other officials.
The official opening ceremony of the Days of Culture took place on the new stage of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, where traditional crafts and a gala concert program by Tajik creative ensembles were presented.
The cultural event was attended by members of the Federation Council, deputies of the State Duma, leadership of ministries and departments of the Russian Federation, representatives of the diplomatic corps, political circles, scholars and cultural figures of the host country, local media journalists, as well as Tajik compatriots residing in Russia and students.
The honored guest from the Russian Federation was Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Nikolay Zhuravlyov. Ministers of Culture of Tajikistan and Russia delivered welcome speeches and greeted the guests.
After that, a concert program featuring Tajik artistic groups began. Melodious and well-known classical and modern national music in various genres was performed on stage. Talents showcased their art, including laureates of international competitions, national and honored artists, popular pop performers, and virtuoso musicians.
The Days of Culture of Tajikistan in Russia will continue on June 4 in the Galiaskar Kamal State Academic Theatre in Kazan, where a gala concert and other events will take place.
