Explanation of the most important points of the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan

On 06 January 2025, in the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Russian Federation, Ambassador of Tajikistan to Russia Mr. Davlatshoh Gulmahmadzoda met with representatives of Tajikistan youth studying in Russian institutions of higher education.

During the meeting, the chief of the diplomatic mission explained the main points of the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Mr. Emomali Rahmon to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan on major directions of Tajikistan's domestic and foreign policies, which was held on 28 December 2024.

Moreover, during his speech, D. Gulmahmadzoda noted that in his Address to the Majlisi Oli, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan H. E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon outlined all the achievements of the Republic of Tajikistan over 33 years of independence and defined the prospects for the country's domestic and foreign policies in upcoming years.

In reference to the main points of the Address of the Leader of the Nation to the Majlisi Oli, he noted that everything that Tajikistan has achieved during the period of independence was made possible thanks to the benevolent work of the people of Tajikistan and its leadership.

The Ambassador also expressed his opinion on the expansion of innovative processes and the comprehensive use of digital technologies in the economy, declaration of 2025-2030 as the "Years of Development of the Digital Economy and Innovation" in the Republic of Tajikistan, celebration of 2550th anniversary of the first charter of human rights - Manifesto of Cyrus the Great, as well as the fight against terrorism and extremism, preventing youth from joining terrorist and extremist groups and movements, as well as educating young generation in the spirit of national identity and patriotism.

Emphasizing the words of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon that works in the fields of construction and development of the country continue to the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, the chief of diplomatic mission added that the esteemed people of Tajikistan must make every effort to make our beloved Homeland even more prosperous and beautiful.

Continuing his speech, the Ambassador drew a special attention to the fact that the specialties studied by citizens of Tajikistan are in great demand in the Homeland and advised them to use all the opportunities that the institutions of higher education provide them.

At the end of the meeting, the chief of diplomatic mission advised students to devote most of their free time to studying foreign languages, modern professions, sciences and technologies.
