Tajik students took part in the meeting of the сouncil of the club «Youth Studying Abroad»

On 25 December 2024, a meeting of the council of the club “Youth Studying Abroad” was held in the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation, in which Tajik students studying in the Russian higher educational institutions took part.

The meeting began with an opening speech of Mr. Zulfikor Gulahmadzoda, Chairman of the Committee of Youth Affairs and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, in a video conference format. The Chairman of the Committee emphasized that the support for youth has been always the main priority of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, particularly the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Mr. Emomali Rahmon, and the youth of the country should act as role models in all spheres of society through their behavior, knowledge and skills, as well as public activity.

Besides, in his speech, Mr. Z. Gulahmadzoda expressed his opinion on the course of state youth policy, the development of sports and the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Youth and State Youth Policy”, and the Strategy of State Youth Policy in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period to 2030.

According to the chairman of the council of the club «Youth Studying Abroad» Mr. Kh. Ayubzoda, the purpose of the council meeting is to summarize the club's activities in 2024 and discuss an action plan for 2025.

It should be noted that Tajik students studying in Russia respectably represent the traditions and culture of their homeland. The above-mentioned club, together with diplomatic missions of the Republic of Tajikistan in other countries, contributes to the solution of problems and development of Tajik students.

At the end of the meeting, young people were provided with the necessary information to prevent their involvement in drug trafficking, criminal activity and extremist groups.

At the end of the meeting, in accordance with the conclusion of the council and the order of the Committee of Youth Affairs and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Behruz Haydarov, a first-year international law postgraduate student in the Institute of Law and National Security of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation (RANEPA) was elected and appointed as a new chairman of the “Youth Studying Abroad” club in the Russian Federation.
