Meeting with Tajik students at the Russian Technological University

On February 15, 2024, the representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Russian Federation met with the representatives of the Russian Technological University (MIREA)

During the conversation, the parties discussed the development of cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia in the field of science and education, as well as the conditions for training Tajik students and strengthening ties between higher educational institutions of the two countries.

The parties also exchanged views on the possibility of increasing quotas for citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The representatives of the Embassy also met with Tajik students studying at this University. Tajik students were informed about the socio-economic development of the country at the present stage. The constant care and support of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Mr. Emomali Rahmon, was especially emphasized in creating favorable conditions for the education and further development of youth.

At the end of the meeting, students were recommended to devote their free time for studying modern professions, foreign languages, science and technology.
