On March 20, 2022 in Dakar, Senegal, Deputy Foreign Minister Sharaf Sheralizoda took part in the Sixth meeting of the International Water Advisory Committee of the Dushanbe Water Process to promote the implementation of the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028", co-chaired by the Committee - Head of the Secretariat of the Conference Sulton Rakhimzoda and Director of the World Bank Water Policy Department Jennifer Sara.
Sharaf Sheralizoda informed the members of the International Advisory Committee about the preparations for the Second High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028", to be held on June 6-9, 2022 in Dushanbe.
During the meeting the parties have discussed the Program, interactive panels, event documents and other details of the Second Dushanbe Conference to cover all its goals and topics, and identified the remaining tasks and plans left to be accomplished before the Conference.
International Advisory Committee on Water Process was established to promote the implementation of the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028" with the participation of 30 leading water experts from around the world and other stakeholders.
