TAJIK-TURKISH TOURISM FORUM

On 3 March, 2022, the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Turkey, in cooperation with the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey organized the Tajik-Turkish Tourism Forum.

The Forum was inaugurated by opening speeches by the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Turkey Ashrafjon Gulov, Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Development Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Kamoliddin Muminzoda, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Nadir Alpaslan and Ambassador of Turkiye in Dushanbe Emre Zeki Karagol.

Within the framework of the Forum, about 12 Tajik-Turkish companies organized an "Exhibition of materials and products of Tajik and Turkish travel companies".

Also, in accordance with the program of the Forum, a bilateral meeting of entrepreneurs from both countries in the B2B format and with the relevant authorities of the parties in the B2G format was organized, and the companies signed a number of documents on cooperation.

The Forum was attended by representatives of more than 100 tourism companies of Tajikistan and Turkey, as well as more than 150 participants online. Along with this, during the Forum, experts and officials hold substantial discussions in the field of tourism by presenting attractive videos and presentations related to the unique nature and other tourism opportunities of Tajikistan and Turkey.
