VIRTUAL ROUND TABLE

Tajiks in the work of the Hungarian orientalist Armin Vambery

On February 10, 2022, at the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, took place a virtual scientific round table dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and Hungary.

The round table entitled Tajiks in the work of the Hungarian orientalist Armin Vambery from the Republic of Tajikistan was attended: Doctor of Philology Abdunabi Sattorzoda, Doctor of Historical Sciences Ibrahim Usmon and Sanovbar Vohidova, from Hungary by Doctor of Historical Sciences Agnes Kelecheni and Doctor of Philology David Kara .

The scientific discussion was devoted to the study of Central Asia by Armin Vambery, who visited this region in 1862-63 years. A. Vambery in his works has found Tajik language, as a language which in the 19th century retained its original refinement, as well as the fineness and beauty of the poetry of the great Rudaki.
