Meeting of the Ambassador with the Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan

On 2 February 2022, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Japan Mirzosharif Jalolov met with the Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Mr. Honda Taro at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

At the beginning of the meeting, the parties congratulated each other on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Japan.

Then, Mr. T. Honda conveyed to the Ambassador the congratulatory message from the Prime Minister of Japan, H.E. Mr. Kishida Fumio, addressed to the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon.

In turn, the Ambassador of Tajikistan also presented a copy of the congratulatory message of the Leader of the Nation, the President of the country H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon, addressed to the Prime Minister of Japan H.E. Mr.  Kishida Fumio.

The parties also exchanged congratulatory messages from the Foreign Ministers of Tajikistan and Japan.

During the meeting, the Ambassador and the Vice-Minister expressed satisfaction with the achievements of friendly cooperation between the two countries over the entire period of diplomatic relations and expressed their readiness to further expand mutual cooperation.
