Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs with the Minister of Energy of Iran

On 27 October 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the Minister of Energy of Iran, Co-chairman of the Joint Commission on Trade, Economic, Technical and Cultural Cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran Ali Akbar Mehrabian in the framework of his working visit to Tehran to participate in the Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the neighboring countries of Afghanistan + Russia.  

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of strengthening bilateral relations, including the implementation of agreements reached during the high level talks in Dushanbe in September this year. The parties also considered the implementation of the decisions of the 14th meeting of the Joint Commission on Trade, Economic, Technical and Cultural Cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran (June 7-8, 2021 in Dushanbe) and noted the need to use the existing bilateral capacity and opportunities to enhance cooperation and increase mutual benefits from implemented joint projects.
