On May 4, 2015 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan were held Bilateral consultations between Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan with the participation of officials from both sides. Delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Nizomiddin Zohidi and Special Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Amjad Hussain B. Sial.
During the meeting they discussed issues of cooperation in the fields of politics, economy, trade and investment. The parties declared their intention to further enhance mutually beneficial relations between the two countries.
During the consultations was noted that Tajikistan and Pakistan have similar positions on international issues and mutual cooperation ties to solve these problems.
