Meeting of the Ambassador of Tajikistan with the Executive Director of the German Association for Small and Medium Businesses

On August 5, 2021, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Federal Republic of Germany Sohibnazar Gayratsho met with the Executive Director of the German Association for Small and Medium Businesses Markus Jerger.

During the talks the sides exchanged views on the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries and the involvement of small and medium businesses of Germany in the economy of Tajikistan.

Given the favourable investment climate and reforms of the recent years, the German Association expressed interest in strengthening economic and trade relations with Tajikistan and noted the appointment of the Trade Attache of Tajikistan in Germany as a sign of the interest of Tajikistan in partnership with Europe.

The German Association consists of over 9,000 German small and medium companies and has 300 representatives abroad.
