Ambassador of Tajikistan meets Secretary General of the Arab League

On 15 April 2015 in Cairo the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Arab Republic of Egypt Khusrav Noziri was received by the Secretary General of the Arab League Dr. Nabil Elarabi.

The Tajik diplomat handed over to the Secretary General of the Arab League a letter from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov regarding the accreditation of the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the League of Arab States.

Parties also exchanged views on issues related to further development of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the League of Arab States in various areas.

It should be noted that within the framework of the First Session of the Forum on Economy and Arab Cooperation with the Central Asian States and the Republic of Azerbaijan which took place in Riyadh on 13 May 2014 the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the League of Arab States was signed. It is scheduled that our country will host the next session of the Forum in 2016.
